Weighing Scales
We support a range of weighing scales including
A. The CAS PDII scales which comes with the option of a display pole and various weight options from 6kg, 15kg, 30kg and 60kg. This scale comes in white or the populate black and looks more modern than other traditional scales making it perfect for point of sale usage.
B. The Digi DS-9833 scales has one key advantage of having 2gram divisions when the weight is below 6kg and then above that switching to 5g divisions through to 15kg.
C. The CAS AP15W scales is a simpler scale and does not look as modern as the CASPDII. The main advantage of this scale is the built in digitial display pole and it is slightly cheaper. This scale works well in Deli situations connected to a touch screen and label printer.
D. Datalogic Magellan Scanner Scales such as the 8400, 9300, 9400 and 9800 series. These scales are used in grocery, organic, bulk produce and fruit and vegetable store situations at the checkout. Their benefit is speed and robustness.
Butcher Scale and Label Printing Solutions
There are a range of options when it comes to scales and the printing of price inclusive / pre-packing barcodes and the best choice depends on the requirements of your site.
Many of our butchers and delis choose to use a touch screen computer connected to a weight only scale such as the CAS PDII or the CAS AP15W and a thermal label printer with inbuilt peeler. The benefit of this solution is that the labelling and packing station has full access to the PBSA POS software, making it a convenient solution. This enables label production including price inclusive barcode labels with country of origin, nutrition labels and even recipe labels. In addition this station has packing modes for when you are packing wholesale orders or Christmas or Easter special orders.
PBSA POS also integrates with Wedderburn label printing scales and wrapping machines via the Wedderburn Wedge tool which provides you with many different scales options. PBSA POS also integrates with Bizerba label printer scales which again provides you the butcher with many options.

Platform Butcher Scales
Platform butchers scales are used in production areas where you need a wide platform and scale capacity up to 150kg.
These scales are also setup to enable easy wash down.
PBSA POS supports a range of platform scales including the CAS BW Washdown Platform Butcher Scale with the 60 and 150kg model having a 420 X 510mm scale platform
